Lavender Mini Sessions

A few years back, I had the pleasure of capturing a lovely couples engagement session in a field of lavender and let’s just say my love for lavender grew from then on! Purple is one of my favourite colours… if you couldn’t tell already. So of course I am always up for a session surrounded by beautiful hues of purple flowers.

I was so excited when I was able to book mini sessions at Lavender-Blu last year with new and past clients! I couldn’t wait til the following year to do it all over again… then something we never expected happened, a world pandemic and I had a list of what if questions. To say that this pandemic has brought up some emotions is an understatement.

I know I’ve worked my you know what off to get to where I am in my business, and during all this I’ve learned what and where I’d really like it to go… I will forever have a strong passion for capturing memories for my clients - love between two people, that same love that grows by one or more heart beats as they welcome children, these moments bring me so much joy to witness and capture so I will always make room for that. However, I also know that this time is fleeting so I want to make the most of it with my own family too. I am looking to the future in hopes to learn how to balance things a little better and still do what I love no matter what.

This blog post went on an entirely different direction then what I had thought to say, but maybe it’s because I haven’t posted since March/April… I felt the need to explain a few things and also my brain is always in this ridiculous state of either mom brain mush or thinking way too much... but… let me get back to what I came here to discuss, Lavender Minis!
