I can’t believe it’s nearly September already! I am hoping to sit down and really plan out blog posts for Fall to Christmas time at least… I feel these last few years have just spun me around and I can’t quite grasp things still. Of course being in a new province has been keeping me busy too - I find when my husband is off work, I just want to go out exploring with our little family so I neglect a few or maybe a lot of behind the scenes tasks that I need to get done, I need to make myself lists and more lists! So this is why I am posting a late night blog post from June of this year.

Speaking of… let’s get sharing shall we? I met Kayla & Shane and their sweet twin boys in November of 2021 during their christmas mini session - Kayla and I became fast friends and it was so nice to get to know her and have our kids get together for play dates! Since this session - her and her beautiful family have moved back to Alberta, I miss our little mom meet ups and the kids laughing and playing together, but we still keep in contact and we hope to visit Alberta again one day too.

I was so happy we could capture this beautiful engagement and family session for them at such a meaningful spot on Vancouver Island that they made so many family memories during the past year living on the island. I love when clients pick a sentimental area to them, it makes the photos that much more special. Thank you Kayla and Shane for letting me capture such a happy time in your lives, congratulations once again on your engagement! Enjoy every moment of all the celebrations to come!
